ACROSTIC POEM

A huge monster
B ored to death, sings
O ctaves to practice for his
M ost
I mportant performance
N ot knowing that no one will
A ttend
B ecause they are afraid the
L onely monster will
E at them.

S o he goes to the
N ext town
O ver... Yelling and screaming,
W ishing for some
M en and women to
A ttend his performance. But they don't understand because
N o one knows how to speak monster.

Quatrain

BIGFOOT!

When I saw bigfoot, he was really hairy
He was dark and dirty and really big.
When he stood up he was really scary
I tried to hide behind a twig.

I saw that he had a baby,
it tried to come and give me a hug
Bigfoot saw and I yelled, "Save me!"
he wanted to squish me like a bug!

Hawks go down again...

The BYU-Idaho Hawks lose their third game in a row on Saturday, losing to the Spartans 14-6. This will be the longest losing streak in the intramural nation. The hawks are led by coach Joe Belnap and assistant coach Jake Hosvie.

The Hawks have tried many things to get their offense going, but nothing seems to be working. The Hawks defense did an outstanding job on Saturday until the fourth quarter holding the Spartans to zero points. But a safety in the end zone by a wide receiver who slipped on a sweep, cost them the ball and 2 points. The Spartans capitalized on the Hawks' mistakes and ended up winning the game 14-6. Mason Warr had 2 interceptions and forced fumble on defense, but even that was not enough to turn the game around in favor of the Hawks.


Warr is hit by Spartan defenders and in the first half of the game, leaving their offense incapable of anything.

Perhaps the only hope for the Hawks now is that all other teams stop showing up.
